Description | The existing Cargo 7 building is located at 3628 Suite B, Yorkmont Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28208 which is owned and operated by the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The building will under-go a tenant buildout for Airside Operations and Field Maintenance with two (2) business/office levels, as well as an addition of a new locker-room and restrooms on the warehouse level. Work includes the widening and replacement of three (3) overhead doors and the addition of two (2) new overhead doors. There will be an expansion of the existing landside parking of 83 parking spots with a new security gate and fencing. New exterior stairs and a vehicle access ramp will be located landside in the existing loading dock bays. On airside, there will be the addition of 52 parking spaces with the associated site work and retaining walls. The addition of a breakroom, new floor, ceilings and light fixtures will be introduced into the business spaces on level 1 and 2. New duct work, mechanical equipment and sprinkler heads will also need to be replaced. New plumbing will need to be added to accommodate the addition of the locker room, bathrooms and break rooms. The conduit and cables associated with SIDA related exterior security elements such as CCTV, Card Readers will be needed but the security fixtures will be not be in scope. An alternate is included for access into the airside, with a new 16 feet wide security sliding gate, electrical panel and ten (10) feet fencing will be implemented and named "Gate 40". Entering the airside, new markings for the tug-way will need to be laid. An additional alternate is for the painting of the exterior of the building. |
