2022 Riverside Drive, Southwind Drive and Westwind Drive Reconstruction Project

The proposed improvements will consist of HMA surface and binder course, aggregate base course type B, curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, lighting, and various Village utility upgrades including 4,225 ft. of 6" and 8" water main installation, restoration and all other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards. Contractors must be shown on the Bidders Planholder list in order to bid. A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal shall be submitted with each proposal as provided in Article 102.09 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.08 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
