Description | 37th St Bridge #1441: The work shall consist of replacing the existing Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) pipe with a precast box culvert, constructing a concrete irrigation box, installing railing, and extending the bridge width for future sidewalk. ACHD critical fiber above bridge. Contractor must R/P throughout project. - Contractor to obtain the following permits: Garden City General Erosion & Sediment Control Permit Application and Garden City Public Works Permit Application. Shoup Ave Bridge #1404: The work shall consist of removing and replacing the existing bridge over the Farmers Lateral with a precast box culvert, constructing 2 gravity manholes, gravity irrigation slides and gates, piping, and sidewalk. All work involving irrigation and/or bridge work shall be completed no later than March 15, 2023, unless otherwise approved by the irrigation district. All other work shall be completed in its entirety on or before April 15, 2023. All questions or clarifications concerning the content and requirements of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) must be posted in the Q&A section of the solicitation located at the eProcurement Portal. All questions or clarifications must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2022. Any interpretation that may alter or change the ITB will be in writing, in the form of Addenda, which will be furnished via the eProcurement Portal. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as Bid Security) issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. If a photocopy or electronic version of a certified check, or cashier's check is provided with the proposal, an original certified check or cashier's check shall be submitted to ACHD within 48 hours of the bid opening. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD. Award of a contract pursuant to this invitation may be delayed, without penalty, for up to sixty (60) calendar days after the date of bid. Expected Contract Bonding Requirement: $700,000 |
