Washington Park Pickleball Courts

The Washington Park District will receive sealed bids for Washington Pickleball Courts. Bid shall be held good and not withdrawn for THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date of bid opening. All requests for clarifications or interpretations outside the Pre-Bid Conference shall be made to the Landscape Architect in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. All questions are due to the Landscape Architect by Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. local time, after this time no additional questions will be reviewed prior to the bid opening. This project is being funded by the Washington Park District Foundation. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids. Successful contract bidding firms are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction. Contracts for work under this bid will obligate the contractor and subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices and shall be in compliance with applicable State of Illinois Statutes pertaining to the selection of labor and prevailing rate of wages. The Washington Park District shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation to bid and is most advantageous to the Washington Park District; price and other factors considered. The Washington Park District reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner.
