Roadway Paving Contract and Drainage Project

As of August 22,2022. Project is canceled and no plans for rebid. Roadway Paving Contract: Troy Borough is receiving bids for the following: Contractor will perform approximately 8,185 SY of 1.5" roadway surface milling, approx 2800 SY of 3" roadway surface milling, furnish and place approx. 504 ton of Fine Graded 19mm asphalt binder course, approx 885 ton of 9.5mm asphalt wearing course, and approx 25 ton of 25mm as directed asphalt base repairs. Drainage Project: Troy Borough is receiving bids for the following: Furnish and install 2 Each Inlet Boxes, approx 347 LF of 24" HDPE Pipe, approx 6 ton of 2A driveway tie ins, and approx 292 SY of topsoil/seed/mulch Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders for each contract. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required within 20 days of receiving notice of being awarded the bid to each contract. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply to roadway paving contract only, wage rates will be provided.
