WSD Concrete and Asphalt Restoration JOC 2 Step

The Water Services Department (WSD) Staff performs daily repairs on water distribution and wastewater collection infrastructure and consequently perform temporary pavement and concrete cuts. Then, WSD Staff will backfill trench and perform temporary cold mix patch. At a minimum, the Contractor will be expected to successfully perform the following construction services, including, but not limited to: 1. Remove temporary asphalt patch (cold mix) and replace with permanent hot mix 2. Remove and replace concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, driveways, etc. 3. Adjust utilities including manhole frames, covers, valve boxes and survey monuments 4. Install ½ sack controlled low strength material or ABC 5. Other services as may be required 6. Work location: City wide on arterials, collectors and local streets and outside of City R/W where City water/sewer infrastructure is present 7. The above scope is for emergency and non-emergency situations 8. Must provide crews dedicated solely to this project to make sure restorations are completed within 21 calendar days after street cut is made 9. During emergency/priority requests, restoration efforts must start the day of the request and schedule restorations the same day or the following day, depending on material availability.
