Description

Replace two existing single phase 110 volt 6” filter influent (raw) valves and AUMA actuators at the Charles River Well Field Water Treatment Facility. Scope of Work - The contractor shall remove the current valves and install two replacement actuator valves that either modulate or throttle. This design feature allows the valves to either open or close at a predetermined set point through the Town’s SCADA control system during a filter backwash. All associated labor to remove, install, and test the new equipment must be included. All wiring shall be completed by the Town of Needham’s on-call electrician under the existing contract with the Town.
