Description | As of September 8,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Remove the existing 20,000-gallon Gasoline and 10,000-gallon Diesel Fuel Above Ground Storage Tanks at Fayetteville Public Works Commission, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301. Provide and install new 20,000-gallon Underground Storage Tanks for Gasoline and Diesel Fuel as shown and specified on the plans titled "AST System Conversion to UST System". This work includes but is not limited to the removal of existing gasoline/fuel tanks, concrete containment, valves, piping, pumps, disposal of the existing above-ground storage tanks, installation of the new tanks as shown and specified, restoration, and all incidentals necessary to complete the specified repairs. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bid or Contract Documents shall be submitted in writing to Shelby Lesane, Procurement Advisor, by email to shelby.lesane@faypwc.com. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Tuesday July 25, 2023, by 5:00pm. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid amount, and made payable to Fayetteville Public Works Commission, North Carolina. Performance and Payment Bonds are required in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and shall be furnished by the Contractor. Fayetteville Public Works Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason determined by PWC to be in its best interest, or to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance, and the time specified in the bids for the performance of the contract. |
