Contract for the Provisions of Custodial and Campground Management Services

Each bid shall be made on the proposal forms contained in the Project Manual and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of not less than 10 percent (10%) of the totalbid. In accordance with Public Contract Code section 22038, the County has the option, after receiving and tabulating bids, to reject all bids and perform the work by force account if the Board of Supervisors determines, by a four-fifths vote, that the work can be performed more economically by its own employees. The Project and all work (Bid Items A through E) must commence no more than 14 days following the reward of the contract. Notice is hereby given that the Mono County ("County") Department of Public Works calls for bids from qualified parties to provide contract services for the provisions of custodial and campground management services. ("Contract"). No contractor or subcontractor may be listed in a bid proposal or awarded a contract for this project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 (unless one of the limited time extensions set forth in Labor Code section 1771.1 applies, in which case registrationmust be completed by the time of contract award). This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
