Renovation of the Greer Golf Complex - City of Greer

Description: The City of Greer is requesting qualifications from experienced general contractors to participate in a Design Partnering project for the renovation of the Greer Golf Complex. As of July 20, 2023, a genearl contractor has been selected by the city. Construction on the first phase of Greer Golf Complex's $2.4 million renovations will begin July 24, the city announced July 17. The project is expected to take two months to complete. It includes converting the facility's pool area into an outdoor event space featuring an outdoor bar with lounge furniture, food preparation space and restrooms. Once construction on the new event space is complete, the city will begin the project's four-month second phase, which focuses on Greer Golf Complex's clubhouse and includes: Redesigning the pro shop. Adding and a full-size bar in the dining room. Completing cosmetic upgrades such as new flooring, paint and fixtures. Relocating golf cart storage to the pro shop's basement. The city also plans to create additional disability act-compliant parking and building entrance enhancements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
