| Description | The Board of Supervisors of Forrest County, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids for annual bids for the following commodities and services; traffic signs, street name signs and posts, gravel lime-stone, petroleum products, ready mix concrete, janitorial supplies, road striping, equipment rental and culverts; and for cover aggregate and dry rip-rap, asphalt hot mix, asphaltic cold-mix, liquid asphalt, and slurry seal and micro surfacing, and bridge components. Prices should be for the period through December 2023 or until subsequent award of new term bids. Bidders must use bid forms furnished by Forrest County. Bids submitted otherwise will be rejected.The lowest and best bid received will be accepted, subject to the provisions of Section 31-7-13, of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated and Amended, and other applicable State Law, and further the Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to wave informalities. |
