Description | Demolition is the process of using wrecking machinery (including but not limited to excavators, skid steers, frontend loaders, dozers, cranes, concrete crushing units, trucks and trailers, etc.) to demolish and remove structures from the property. Demolition services as related to this project include the demolition, removal and disposal of all structural support below portable buildings; including anchors, ramps, steps, skirting, sidewalks, electrical conduit and sewer/water piping. Conduits, sewer and water lines should be capped off below grade. Leon County Schools will have City of Tallahassee remove electric and water meters and cap the sewer and water lines at the street. Contractor shall complete the usual and customary excavation and grading on the work site as required to provide a level and safe rough final elevation pitched to match with the adjoining grade. The entire work site must be clean, clear of all debris and resod of all disturbed areas for final acceptance by the Owner. Contractor shall provide all necessary demolition labor, materials and equipment, and perform all demolition services to remove twenty (20) portable buildings at the former location of PACE Secondary School at 3413 Zillah Street Tallahassee, Florida 32305. |
