Description | Edifice LLC is the Construction Manager for the Cabarrus County Library & Active Living Center and Virginia Foil Park in Mount Pleasant, NC. Edifice is currently seeking to prequalify contractors for the subcontractor trades packages listed below. This project is a new 20,921 sf library & active living center, park with ballfields, and amenity buildings located in Mount Pleasant, NC. The project will be located on Washington Street Mount Pleasant, NC. CPL Team will be designing the library, Benesch will be designing the park and Morris Berg Architects will design the amenity buildings. The building will be a one-story, Type II-B structure with multipurpose rooms, seating areas, and fitness rooms. The exterior will be a combination of masonry veneer, metal wall panels, and aluminum curtain wall. The park will include three baseball fields, a walking trail, amenity buildings and landscape with irrigation. Interior finishes will consist of acoustical wall panels, resilient flooring, LVT, carpet tiles, tile, ceiling baffles, ACT, and dry fall ceilings. Contractors are invited to pre-qualify for the following formal trade packages: 03-001 Concrete, 04-001 Masonry, 05-001 Steel, 07-001 Roofing, 08-002 Glass and Glazing, 09-001 Drywall, 22-001 Plumbing, 23-001 HVAC, 26-001 Electrical, 31-001 Sitework, 32-001 Landscaping, 32-003 Synthetic Field, and 32-004 Natural Athletic Field. Potential Informal Bid Packages: Work that will not be part of the formal bid process and will not require submitting a prequalification statement before bidding (but not limited to): 01-001 Final Cleaning, 01-002 Surveying, 06-001 Millwork, 07-002 Waterproofing, 07-003 Metal Panels, 07-004 EIFS, 08-001 Doors and Hardware, 08-003 Overhead Doors, 09-002 Acoustical Ceilings, 09-003 Flooring, 09-004 Tile, 09-005 Painting, 09-006 Sealed Concrete, 10-001 Specialties, 10-002 Signage, 10-003 Canopies, 11-001 Food Service Equipment, 12-001 Window Treatments, 13-001 Pre-engineered Metal Building, 21-001 Fire Suppression, 31-002 Site Furnishings, and 32-002 Fencing. All pre-qualified bidders are required to seek MWBE/HUB participation. The minimum goal for this project is 10% participation. Firms are encouraged to consider all possibilities for participation. Bidders must be properly licensed under all state laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the respective trades and work to be performed. The General Statutes of the State of North Carolina applicable to license requirements, submission of bids, and award of public contracts shall be observed in the receiving of bids and awarding of contracts for the work. Further information may be required in addition to this pre-qualification statement based on your response. These items may include additional financial statements, proof of applicable licenses, certification status, safety program/policy, drug and alcohol program/policy, additional project experience, and or certificates of insurance. Completing this statement does not guarantee prequalification. The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all prequalifications.
