North 8th Street 2021 Paving Project

The Scope of Work for the project in comprised of the placement of concrete curb on the east side of 8th Street from Thomas Street to Spring Garden Street, mill & base repair of utility trench repair on North 8th Street, Spring Garden Street, and Somers Lane, and an asphalt , tack coat, scratch and leveling course and a 1.5" wearing course overlay on the entire length of North 8th Street from Thomas Street to Phillips Street. Access and maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, erosion control, restoration, and other miscellaneous items are also included. Bid alternates of tack coat, leveling course, and 1.5" overlay of Somers Lane from base bid tie in to Grove Street and of tack coat, leveling course, and 1.5" overlay of Grove Street from Somers Lane to Phillips Street will also be included. Bidders must have the experience and qualifications necessary to perform this work.
