Description | Services shall include digital mapping and GPS locating of Public Works Infrastructure including, but not limited to, any or all of Water Utility Division assets, storm water assets, sign assets and other public works infrastructure. The infrastructure shall be provided in a seamless GIS geodatabase in NJ State Plane coordinates. The vendor shall be able to update the GIS and all associated deliverable layers at an interval required by the Township. Vendor shall be able to utilize existing data, including SpatialDataLogic linked parcel mapping and modiv databases to automatically populate certain cross streets or other geographically relevant asset fields. Vendor shall also make use of existing paper records, CAD drawings, as-built drawings, GIS data, aerial photography, GPS devices (field location) and other databases where needed to populate Township required fields and to locate assets. Asset IDs shall be assigned based on existing data or other proposed assignment system methodology that the Township requires or otherwise agrees to. Data should be collected, structured and recorded according to engineering and industry best practices in a way that provides for future analysis, for example, hydraulic analysis of water infrastructure or budgetary projections of roadway infrastructure. The geodatabase supplied shall be compatible with the Township’s ESRI GIS system and be able to be imported into both the SpatialDataLogic software package and ArcGIS online for data management, field updating by mobile and portal solutions, and complaint and work order tracking. Ideally, the vendor will be able to provide two-way integration and data flow between updates in the GIS system (located on premises or hosted in ArcGIS online) and data located in the SpatialDataLogic software, and possibly provide integration with other Township applications. Deliverables may also include paper map books and subsets of data for submission to state authorities, e.g., NJDEP and/or NJDOT where requested. |
