Water Main Replacement Project

Project involves replacing all of the existing 4-inch PVC water main with 4-inch and 2-inch HDPE pipe. The total amount of existing main to be replaced is about 8,300-feet. The total length of new replacement mains will be slightly less at about 8,000-feet because of routing changes. The project includes but is not limited to: 1. Temporary erosion and sediment control around work areas; 2. Installation of new 4-in. HDPE water mains and appurtenances; 3. Replacement or re-connection of existing meters to new service lines; relocation of some meters as shown on plans; installation of new services; 4. Traffic control around work areas; 5. Site Restoration and grading including replacement of asphalt, gravel and landscaping; 6. O&M Manuals; and 7.
