Description

The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("the Town"), is hereby requesting bids from qualified firms to furnish all labor, management, materials, and equipment to make necessary well intake repair in Sand Transfer Plant of Town of Palm Beach. Brief scope of work: Remove the debris from the damaged valve vault and install a Town supplied marker in the location of the connection. Remove the existing pipe work from well casing that is exposed to the flange just outside of the electrical vault, to the south (Approximately 60' of 10" cast iron pipe). Replace all parts with same as removed (steel tee, blind flange, check valve, pipe work and 3/4 " saddle tap). Bury with sand left near site (do not bring sand in from offsite). Final completion shall be before March 1st, 2023. Town Project Manager expects work to be accomplished within three business days from Notice to Provide, but we are giving five business days to awarded contractor for this job. Any delay after five business days shall enforce liquidated damages. Town doesn't posses any plans or drawings for this project. Attached with this Invitation To Bid are some photos of the pipe work that needs replaced due to Hurricane Nicole and clean up around the damaged valve vault. Bid Bond if bid goes over 100k The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The Town further reserves the right to award the contract to that proposer whose proposal best complies with the ITB requirements. No proposer may withdraw their proposals for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date set for the opening thereof.
