Route 20A Sidewalk

The project consists of the construction of sidewalks along NYS Route 20A in the Town of Richmond. Sidewalks are to be constructed along the north and south side of NYS Route 20A, from the Honeoye Creek bridge to Church Street (+-1,700). Construction of crosswalks across NYS Route 20A and County Road 36 include crosswalk traffic signaling. Work will also include replacement of curbing, asphalt restoration, lawn restoration, removal of old sidewalk and maintenance and protection of traffic. Sealed Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The Town of Richmond, Ontario County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract. For a non-refundable fee, interested firms may request and receive a CD with electronic copies of the Bidding Documents. If the CD is to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. 3. For a non-refundable fee, printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Avalon Planroom. If the documents are to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the offices of MRB Group and the Town of Richmond, 8690 Main Street, Honeoye, New York 14471. A Bid shall be received no later than the date and time prescribed and at the place indicated in the advertisement or invitation to bid and shall be enclosed in a plainly marked package with the Project title (and, if applicable, the designated portion of the Project for which the Bid is submitted), the name and address of Bidder, and shall be accompanied by the Bid security and other required documents. If a Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate package plainly marked on the outside with the notation "BID ENCLOSED."
