East Main Street Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement - Phase 1

Goals: 10%. The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete and operable installation of: 1. Removal and replacement of approximately 1,700 linear feet of 8-inch diameter existing sanitary sewer main with new 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer main, including two (2) point repairs. 2. Removal and replacement of approximately 300 linear feet of 10-inch diameter existing sanitary sewer main with new 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer main. 3. Removal and replacement of eight (8) existing sanitary sewer manholes and installation of two (2) new sanitary sewer manholes. 4. Re-establishment or replacement of existing laterals as shown on the Contract Documents. 5. Work is confined within the public rights-of-way owned by the NCDOT or Town of Carrboro. 6. Applicable traffic control, bypass pumping, restoration, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and other items required to meet local requirements and requirements as described in the Contract Documents.
