Primary Tunnel Repairs Project

This bid includes furnishing of materials, labor, equipment, and supplies necessary for the: Item 1. Construction of (2) new structural slabs scabbed directly beneath (2) existing structural slabs working from above and below the existing slabs. Work involves supporting reinforcing from above, false-works and structural steel supporting forms from beneath coordinated with existing pipe hangers and reinforcing steel. Minimize disruptions to plant operations. Pour self-consolidating concrete (SCC) into the form through inlet and outlet openings cored into the existing slabs working from above. Item 2. Patch repair spalled conditions in the tunnel using the specified epoxy grout and bonding details. Item 3. Epoxy coat the walking surface where specified in plans. Apply (2) coats of epoxy at ground level walking surface of concrete tunnel including 2`-0" of adjoining side walls.
