Glenhill Drive Storm Sewer Improvements

Separation of existing 54” relief storm sewer from existing 54” brick storm sewer by abandonment and bulkheading of the relief sewer just south of the intersection of the two sewers. Removal of existing drainage catch basin structures and the 18” storm sewer crossing Glenhill @ 23752 Glenhill Drive. Rerouting relief sewer flow via installation of 54” storm sewer from proposed storm manhole PSTM-1 to PSTM-2, and crossing Glenhill Drive with a 54” storm sewer and tying into the existing junction chamber at the north side of Glenhill at the property line/easement between house numbers 23733 and 23759. The existing junction chamber shall be rebuilt only as necessary to accommodate the proposed 54” storm sewer. Installation of two catch basins to tie roadway runoff into the proposed 54” storm sewer. Reconnection of existing storm lateral into new 54” at house number 23752. Maintenance of existing utilities – gas, water and sanitary. Contingencies are provided for water service connection relocations and watermain lowering to accommodate installation of the proposed sewer. Full depth pavement removal and replacement with concrete including the provision of a 2.5 inch concrete cap placed upon a bondbreaker to accommodate future resurfacing. Perform surface restoration work to sidewalk, drives and landscaping damaged as a result of the work. Provide maintenance of traffic and coordinate access to properties affected by the roadway closure and sewer installation work.
