Description | a. Remove anchors, disconnect electrical power from existing Romeo guard shack, remove from concrete pad and completely dispose of existing Romeo guard shack. b. Replace existing Romeo guard shack with new guard shack (delivered and off-loaded by Others near existing guard shack), position new guard shack on existing concrete pad, and connect load center to facility electrical power. c. Position new Freedom guard shack at a location and orientation determined by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on South side of parking lot (delivered and off-loaded by Others near existing guard shack). Existing Freedom guard shack will remain as-is in current North side location and will not be disconnected from power. d. Connect new Freedom guard shack load center to facility electrical power. Trench any new utility lines as required, compact refill soil to match surrounding grade. e. Any new anchor bolt installation will be completed by Others. f. The contractor is responsible to conduct a site survey as needed of the project area to validate existing conditions. Examine substrates, areas, and conditions, with Contracting Officer’s Representative present. g. Any damage to existing VA property during construction will be replaced or repaired at no additional cost to the government. Complete the work to the extent required for the repair and installation of damaged finishes and systems caused by the work performed in accordance to this contract and specifications h. After completing security booth installation, inspect all components for function. Remove spots, dirt, and debris and touch up damaged finishes. turnover fully functional equipment to the designated Government representative. |
