PURPOSE: The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver EW-1 End Walls as described within and delivered to the job site listed herein. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other mattersraised DELIVERY: Deliver Lot 1 by October 1, 2022: State Route 726 Quarterwood Road GPS Coordinates 37.353250, - 79.690610 Deliver Lot 2 by October 20, 2022: State Route 755 Nemmo Road GPS Coordinates 37.270429, - 79.726208 SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: The successful bidder shall be listed on the VDOT Materials Section Approved Pre-Cast Concrete Producers list #34 or furnish the name of the VDOT approved pre-cast concrete producer that the pre-cast concrete culverts are being purchased from. If the producer is not listed on the approved list #34, they may contact Travis Higgs at travis.higgs@vdot.virginia.gov or 540-387-5338 to obtain information on the approval process for future solicitations. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver the following: Line 1: 2 (two) each, EW-1 Modified, 48" High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), NO SKEW Line 2: 2 (two) each, EW-1 Modified, 48" High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), NO SKEW The construction of the concrete pre-cast head walls shall meet all of the 2020 VDOT Road & Bridge Specifications or latest version and the 2016 VDOT Road & Bridge Standards, or current version, that pertain to this commodity
