Description | Scope of Work: The Epsom Select Board is seeking proposals for grounds maintenance at Webster Park. Spring Clean-Up: To be completed no later than May 1st. All grass areas to be cleared of leaves, branches, and debris. Yard waste to be brought to designated area behind the Webster Park garage. Mowing to commence the first week of May and end on or before October 31st, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon. To be completed every two weeks: Mowing & trimming the park entrance, lawn, large pavilion, small pavilion, pond, and Short Falls swimming area. Trim the Scout trail. As requested: Mowing for special events. Schedule subject to change due to weather conditions. Contractor will provide their own equipment. Terms of Contract: The contract will be valid for one (1) year with the option to renew for the following year. The contract can be terminated with thirty (30) days' notice from either party and notice of termination must be in writing. Insurance: The contractor must maintain a minimum $1,000,000 General Liability insurance coverage. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided to the Epsom Town Office and it will name the Town of Epsom as additional insured. Billing Procedure: No payments will be made in advance of services performed and invoices should be submitted to the Finance Administrator at the Epsom Town Office via mail or email. Quote Review: The quotes will be reviewed at the October 16, 2023 Epsom Select Board meeting. The Select Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the Town of Epsom.
