Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC Services

The Housing Authority of Plainfield is requesting proposals from qualified and cerfied contractors from the State of New Jersey to service, coordinate, oversee and to be responsible for the services of the electrical, plumbing and HVAC services on a call and need basis. The annual services with an option to renew for an additional year shall not exceed $100,000 per year. Additional services beyond the scope of the outlined services need to be approved beforehand. Interested companies shall submit the current certificate of insurance with workers compensations and three work-related references to be included in the proposal package to the Authority. The Authority will provide all individual heat units for Joanne Hollis Gardens and the centralized hot water boilers for both Joanne Hollis Gardens and Richmond Towers if the replacement of units are needed. The service tickets/reports shall be forwarded to the Authority indicating time, date and cause of the services call after completion of each task. Electrical work includes but is not limited to wiring replacement and repair work. Please see the attached sheets for the scope of the heating and hot water equipment. All proposals are required to comply with the requirement of PL. 1975C.127 affirmative action and equal employment laws in accordance with the applicable state and federal regulations.
