Description

Requesting Construction Manager at Risk for Construction of an indoor multi-purpose facility to accommodate the growth in programs and provide recreational opportunities to the northern part of the Town. The Community Center North will be able to provide a multitude of athletic and multi-generational recreation programs. The Community Center North will be approximately 56,789 square feet in size and house two basketball courts, suspended indoor walking track, multipurpose rooms, kitchen, fitness rooms, and additional community spaces, and support spaces. Phase two will provide an additional 19,110 sqft and include a third gymnasium, two racquetball courts, restrooms, walking track expansion and a multi-purpose room (the Town of Fuquay-Varina anticipates bidding phase two as an alternate). The project site is located at 4501 Hilltop Needmore Road and will also be the future site of Wake County Public School System Hilltop Needmore Elementary School.
