County Route 21 Bridge Replacement over Tributary to Agawamuck Creek

This project will involve the complete replacement of CR 21 over Tributary to Agawamuck Creek. The culvert is located in the Town of Hillsdale, Columbia County, New York. The existing culvert consist of a 12 foot long, single span, Jack Arch. The existing structure has a cast in place concrete deck founded on poured concrete abutments. There is an asphalt-wearing surface on the deck. Gabion baskets installed due to past erosion comprise one upstream wingwall. Traffic will be detoured during demolition of the existing bridge and construction of the new bridge. The new structure will be a 3-sided concrete span unit consisting of (2) 10`-0" lanes, (2) 4`-0" shoulders with new steel bridge rail, transition rail and box beam guide rail. EEO goals for this project are; Female Goal of 6.9% and a Minority Goal of 2.6%.
