Former Tecumseh Manufacturing Buildings Abatement & Demolition

Abatement and disposal of indicated friable asbestos-containing materials and hazardous and regulated building materials followed by the demolition and removal of all above ground structures and debris. The Property is approximately 16-acres in size with an approximate 410,000 square foot, primarily single-story, building constructed of a concrete slab foundation, metal/brick/ concrete block framing and multiple roofing materials. The main floor of the main building is concrete slab on grade, with mostly flat roofs. There are no areas below grade habitable or accessible to persons. The manufacturing/operational areas are mostly one-story with ceilings that are approximately 15- to 20-feet high. There are also several two- and three-story finished office areas and several small rooms which were used for product testing. The southern end of the main building consists of an office area. There are loading docks at the northern end of the main building and at several locations along the western side of the building. A covered scrap recycling dock is also located along the western side of the main building. Three smaller outbuildings, two metal-clad coal sheds and one trailer used as office space, are also present on the Site.
