Description

The Town of Ocean Isle Beach proposes to construct an expansion to their Town Center Park on a 0.47-acre parcel owned by the Town adjacent to the existing park. The park amenities/features will include but are not limited to: a tot playground, exercise equipment, a double zipline, a picnic shelter, a half basketball/pickleball court, walkways, a 9/11 Memorial and additional parking. The walkways and parking areas will be constructed of permeable pavers. Grass recreational areas around the amenities will be developed with turfgrass sod. Irrigation, landscaping, and site lighting will also be included throughout the park expansion area.
