Description

The DEPARTMENT operates a statewide Electronic Red Light Safety Enforcement Program to improve safety on its roadways by reducing red-light violations. There are currently forty-six (46) intersections included in this system statewide. During the course of the contract, the DEPARTMENT may expand the program by adding intersections both in municipal locations and in unincorporated locations statewide. Candidate intersections and approaches for the ERLSES will be identified by the DEPARTMENT. The term of this contract will be five (5) years from the Go Live date. At the option of the DEPARTMENT, this may be extended for two (2), two-year terms. The DEPARTMENT reserves the right to extend this contract as needed to prevent loss of services during the transition of Vendors or other unanticipated interruptions of service.
