Bus Shelter Installation

1. Pour five at-grade, 4" thick concrete slabs measuring 6'x11' behind the adjoining sidewalk at the pre-selected 2. Maximum slope shall not exceed 2% in any direction 3. Shelters will be surface mounted using tamper resistant concrete anchor bolts provided by the manufacturer. 4. Shelters should be sloped slightly to the rear for proper drainage (approximately 1/4” slope per ft. from front to rear of shelter). 5. Anchor bolts are to be strong enough to secure the shelters in a 115mph wind load 6. Minimal prep-work at site may be required. This would include leveling. 7. In private property areas where no sidewalk exists, an ADA accessible ramp must be constructed adjoining the shelter to the private road. 8.
