Wastewater Collection System Improvements Project

The Project includes construction of collection system improvements work which generally consists of the following elements: o Internal cleaning and CCTV inspection of approximately 7,500 lf of 8-inch and 10-inch wastewater pipelines o Root removal o Sanitary sewer bypass pumping o CIPP liner installation in approximately 3,350 lf of 8-inch sewer pipes o Open cut replacement of approximately 1,900 lf of 8-inch and 10-inch sewer pipes including reconnection of existing services and replacing 10 manholes o Rehabilitation of 15 manholes o Associated HMA removal, HMA replacement, gravel surfacing, hydroseed, and associated surface replacement Obtaining the Bidding Documents For other requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders and other documents that are included in the Bidding Documents. Domestic Preference This project is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements mandated by Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (and subsequent statutes). This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States
