Description | The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is planning for the design, development, installation and commissioning of a new Congressional Legislative Call System (LCS) for the U.S Capitol Campus. This new system shall operate in union with the existing current system used by the Government. The design effort shall include a 50% and 100% design document submission for Government approval prior to fabrication of equipment. The new congressional LCS shall include all components for a fully functional system and also include but not limited to new Radio Frequency (RF) transmitter, New Clocks and Call receiver components. The means of signal transmission shall be Ultra High Frequency (UHF) at a frequency licensed to the government. The new LCS system must be capable of interfacing with future technologies such as smart phone application, TV channel display or other means of broadcast technology. The documentation on how the data extraction is achieved and the type of data in the offering shall become the property of the Government at the conclusion of the project. The AOC also plans to design/build the U.S. House of Representatives (House) and U.S. Senate (Senate) a Mobile Legislative Call System (MLCS). The new MLCS system shall include all components for a fully functional system and also include New Clocks and Call receiver components. The MLCS shall utilize a non-radio frequency secure encrypted wireless transmission system. The system shall be easily portable, deployable, scalable, and flexible in its use. The new MLCS shall be fully design and approved by the Government prior to fabrication and installation. The documentation on how the data extraction is achieved and the type of data in the offering shall become the property of the Government at the conclusion of the project. | ||||
