A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Replace Jet-A and AvGas Fuel Systems Base Bid: Replace Jet-A and AvGas Fuel Systems, Aggregate Base Dense: 1,050 TON; HMA Asphalt: 390 TON; Concrete Pavement: 175 SY; Fencing: 225 LF; Vehicle Gate: 1 EACH; Electrical Trenching: 525 LF; Electrical Power Equipment: 2 LS; Area Lighting: 1 LS DBE Goal: None Assigned Contract Completion Time: 60 Calendar Days There are two options for bidders to submit bids: A cost of $35 per project, or a monthly subscription wherein the bidder is able to submit bids for all projects in bidexpress.com system for $50 per month. Subscriptions can be turned on and off at any time by the registered user. Only the prime or general contractor submitting a bid are responsible for payment. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid is required for the contract. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, certificate of annual bid bond, a certified check, bank's draft, bank's check, or postal money order made payable to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary for 5% of the total amount bid. The electronic template will allow the following options for meeting the proposal guaranty. E-Verify bid bond (Surety2000 & SurePath), uploading a copy of the bid bond or certificate of annual bid bond, certified check, bank draft, or money order. The Work under this Contract consists of the replacement of Jet-A and 100-LL fuel systems, and all incidental items necessary to complete the Work as shown on the Plans and included in the Proposal and Contract. A. These Special Provisions and Technical Specifications will identify the equipment performance to be met by the Contractors. B. Due to the specific nature of how various equipment components are put together to make up a functioning aircraft fueling system, known manufactures and suppliers of acceptable equipment will be identified. C. "Or approved equal" equipment is acceptable if, in fact, it is equal in performance, materials, code compliance, and serviceability as determined by the Engineer. D. Equipment components to have shop drawings/submittals reviewed by the Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following items: 1. Underground Tank(s) 2. Tank Anchoring System and Buoyancy Calculations 3. Overfill Prevention Valves 4. Fueling Cabinets 5. Tank Monitor 6. Tank Level Probe(s) 7. Interstitial Probe(s) 8. Floating Suction Assembly 9.
