| Description | Scope of Work: 1. Remove and dispose of the existing roofing system. 2. Inspect and repair the substrate (if required), per the unit cost described below. 3. Install fire rated wood blocking (2x6) at the perimeter and rise -wall to be mechanically attached. 4. Install fire rated plywood (3/4-inch) at the rise-wall to be mechanically attached. 5. Clean, prime and install fiberglass base sheet (vapor barrier) to be set in hot asphalt. 6. Install iso insulation (two layers / total thickness: 4.0 -inch) to be set in hot asphalt. 7. Install iso insulation tapered system (1/4-inch per foot slope / 0.5-inch starting thickness) to be set in hot asphalt. 8. Install securock insulation (1/2-inch) to be set in hot asphalt. 9. Install perlite cant strip at vertical intersections to be set in hot asphalt. 10. Install three (3) plies of type four (4) felt to be set in hot asphalt. 11. Install code lead jackets. 12. Install prefinished aluminum (.032) metal gravel guard with mill finish aluminum (.040) cleat. 13. Install two (2) plies of type 4 felt at base flashing and strip -in to be set in hot asphalt. 14. Install modified bitumen (energy star) cap sheet to be set in adhesive. 15. Remove the roofing related refuse on a daily basis. | ||
