Student Center East, 1st Floor Ballroom Lighting Upgrades

Work for this project will include demolishing the existing lighting fixtures, including three large chandeliers, control system and ceiling tiles. Installation of new lighting fixtures and controls, new ceiling tiles, new lighting features, such as stage lighting and cove lighting, architectural modifications to support new audiovisual infrastructure and lighting, cleaning of mechanical registers in ceiling, new electrical infrastructure to support new lighting as audiovisual equipment, and any other items required in the contract documents. The contractor will also need to coordinate the architectural and electrical modifications that support the audiovisual system with a separate AV contractor who will be supplying and installing the new audiovisual equipment under a separate contract.
