Air Conditioning System Replacement at 1A Water Treatment Plant

Scope of Work: Vendors are invited to respond for a fixed contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals for the removal, disposal, and replacement of one (1) air-cooled chiller, thirteen (13) ceiling mounted fan coil units, and two (2) rooftop air handling units with stainless steel curb adapters at the 1A Water Treatment Plant for the Water and Wastewater Services Division in accordance with the Specifications and Requirements. Goal Participation: This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. Basis of Award: The basis of award shall be to the lowest, responsive, and responsible Vendor for the total of all items. Refer to Special Instructions to Vendors for additional information. County/State License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for Vendors). Bid Allowance Amounts: This solicitation includes pass-thru allowances. It is not necessary to add your allowance amounts into your bid prices. Periscope S2G will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on the final bid tabulation. Bid Guaranty: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). Ownership Disclosure Requirements: As a matter of Vendor responsibility, Vendor must submit a completed Ownership Disclosure Form (refer to Special Instructions for Vendors for additional information). Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. Submittals: Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically and MUST confirm its submittal in order for the County to receive a valid response through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government. Refer to the Purchasing Division website or contact Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government for submittal instructions. It is the Vendor's sole responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government for technical assistance. Q & A deadline: Apr 19, 2023 5:00:00 PM EDT The vendor is cautioned that, although the site visit is optional, no modification or any changes will be allowed in the pricing because of the failure of the vendor(s) to have visited the site. Job site visitation is strongly recommended; submission of a bid will be construed that the vendor is acquainted sufficiently with the work to be performed. There is no scheduled Pre-Bid Conference for this solicitation.
