2023 Subdivision Resurfacing Project

Resurfacing Project - Pavement Planing /Milling, Tack Coat, and Surface Course Asphalt. The Service Director will accept questions for this project until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 by submitting any questions in writing to asutak@martinsferryoh.gov Each bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount required per Ohio Revised Code, Section 153.54; and on the form compliant with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.571. Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than 60 days after date of opening and/or to award at any time during the period. State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates for Belmont County will be applicable to this project. A copy of the applicable wage rates must be obtained by the Bidder/Contractor from the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Wage and Hour Administration. The Owner anticipates that the projected costs for this project be $274,000.00 and the Contractor shall obtain Substantial Completion no later than October 31, 2023. Failure to meet this deadline will incur a 10% penalty (deduction) of the current contract amount. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, to decrease, or omit any item or items and/or to award to the lowest and responsible, responsive bidder. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received.
