Installation of Livestock Heavy Use Area Pads at Reedy Creek Farm

Installation of new livestock heavy use areas at Reedy Creek Equine Farm located at 5100 Reedy Creek Road, Raleigh, NC, 27607. Provide labor, materials, disposal, machinery, and expertise to install livestock heavy use areas. Site preparation: 1. Installation of a heavy use area per Natural Resources Conservation Service Conservation Practice Standard (NRCS Heavy Use Area Protection Code 561) which will provide a stable, non-eroding surface for areas frequently used by livestock and farm equipment. 2. Horses will need to be rotated through pastures so that work can be completed. Therefore, each pasture will need to be completed before moving to the next area of work. 3. Heavy use area installation will be scheduled and coordinated around contractor installing fence. 4. NCSU Facilities will mark utilities. 5. Grading as indicated to prepare for installation of heavy use area. 6. Installation of approximately 47,056 square feet of heavy use area for livestock use.
