Description | The Alachua County Board of County Commissioners is seeking responses from qualified vendors to provide commercial remediation, emergency premise and equipment disinfection services in response to man-made or natural disasters that effect Alachua County. Services are to include all labor, materials, supplies and equipment in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications set forth within this solicitation. Vendors must be fully capable of performing the required services while adhering to all laws, specifications, procedures, protocols, applicable guidance, and industry best practices. The intent of this solicitation is to procure a contract for a term of one (1) year, with two (2) additional, two (2) year renewals. Upon successful contract execution with Vendor, all work shall by authorized by appropriate County Personnel prior to commencement of each project. Due to nature of emergency related-work, Alachua County cannot guarantee anticipated amount of services needed. Facilities in need of cleaning may include schools and other government buildings used as shelters (to include pet-friendly shelters), as well as other locations throughout Alachua County that are used for disaster-specific operations. Pricing reflected in bid submission must account for any potential supplies or chemicals needed. Form of Government: Alachua County is governed by a Board of five (5) elected County Commissioners and operates under the established County Manager Charter form of government. In addition to the five County Commissioners, there are five elected Constitutional Officers: Supervisor of Elections, Sheriff, Clerk of the Court, Tax Collector, and the Property Appraiser. The Alachua County Attorney also reports to the Board. Question Submission Deadline:June 18, 2022, 12:00am Awarded company- Hydradry Inc.
