Description

Construction of a 12-inch PVC potable water main to connect the Stevensville/Chester water distribution system to the Kent Narrow's water distribution system within Queen Anne's County, Maryland. The work of this contract consists of the installation of approximately 3,500 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water sewer main via open trench with a small portion via horizontal directional drill. The vast majority of the work will be within SHA rights-of-way. Work will include the installation of division valves, fire hydrants, and a check valve vault. Work will also require any trench within paving to be repaired with hot mix asphalt base course at the end of each week.
