Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Smithfield, North Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade, 94-unit multi-residential development; and one-story above grade, 49-unit residential development. The project scope includes the new construction of townhouses and single family homes on 31.56 acres. Scope details have not been released. As of June 22, 2022 the project is in design stage. Construction plans are expected to be submitted soon the the Town of Smithfield planning department. The Town Council has approved a preliminary subdivision. Information regarding the architect has not been disclosed. A general contractor has not yet been chosen. The method of selection has not been released. The construction timeline has not been determined, but may begin by year end 2022.
