Description

The Board of Education of St. Mary's County on behalf of St. Mary's County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Vendors to supply and replace the emergency generator at Piney Point Elementary School (PPES); 44550 Tall Timbers Rd., Tall Timbers, MD 20690). Work will include the removal and disposal of the existing equipment. All work must be completed by June 15, 2023. 20002 The Existing Generator is a Generac 45kw Propane Generator, Located in a Courtyard at the Rear of the Building Enclosed by a Chain Link Fence. The Generator and Associated Transfer Switch Are to Be Replaced in Their Entirety, on a One-for-one Basis. Existing Wiring and Conduit Shall Be Reused for Installation of New Devices at Same Location With Only the Control Wiring Being Replaced With New. Acceptable Replacement Manufacturers Are Indicated in the Specifications. Contractor Shall Coordinate Any Power Outages Required to Complete Work With Owner and Provide Any Temporary Power as Required.
