Blair Field Outfield Renovations 2021

Reinstall topsoil and laser grade the entire outfield. Remove chain-link fence. Strip loam and stock pile. Install 3,500 yards of sharp sand to elevate field by approximately 1 foot. Install 8” perforated pipe drain in 5’ wide by 2 1/2’ deep 1 1/2” stone trench with fabric on top layer. Perimeter drain runs from behind first base dugout around outfield to left field foul line. Install concrete catch basin with cast-iron grate in utility road near batting cage. Tie in with perimeter drain. Spread stockpiled loam over outfield area. Power rake all loam areas. Hydroseed all loam areas Re-grade, compact and install fresh layer of reclaimed asphalt on utility road to dugouts 100 yards.
