| Description | A. Install 30"X24" MJ TEE (for by-pass connection of 30" FM) (TNEMEC lined) B. 2ea 30" Plug Valve W/VB C. 1ea 24" Plug Valve or Gate Valve W/VB (when by-pass is disconnected install 24" blind MJ plug on 24" plug valve) D. Inspect, clean and rehab 2 existing manholes (new raven liner and stop leaks or repair any other deficiencies) E. Inspect, clean and CIPP Line approx.. 60lf of 36" DIP between MH #'s 1-21 and 1-35 F. Demo existing 30" FM (2ea 90 degree bends and 230lf+/-) G. Install New 30" PVC Gravity (C905) 250lf+/- (see bedding and trench detail) (trench should be backfilled with select fill and compacted in 6" lifts to a density of 98% and last 36" should be flowable fill) H. Install 2 New 8' Diameter MH 2ea (8'diameter base only to except 30" PVC Gravity then reduce to standard 4' MH) (MH ring and covers shall be made of composite material and be DOT rated. see detail for recommend manufacturer) I. Install By-Pass Pumping System (See Plans For Details and Layout). Contractor responsible for system at all times. Provide two 4" sound attenuated bypass pumps appropriate for a residential area. J. Mill existing asphalt to a depth of 3" (6,460 sf +/-) K. Repave all areas disturbed to meet SCDOT Specifications (approx. 6,460 sf +/-) L. Remove and Replace 24"RCP storm drain (28lf) M. Install Silt Fence (900lf+/-) prior to construction. Maintain silt fence until ground is stabilized. N. Any vac truck needs will be the responsibility of the contractor O. All traffic control will be the responsibility of the contractor P. Contractor responsible for preparing record drawings of all new sewer construction. Manhole information to include rim elevations and inverts. Include South Carolina state plane coordinates of all manholes and valves. Q. CCTV video of the new construction by contractor. The video shall be provided to Dorchester County Water and Sewer for review. R. Work to follow all requirements of the SCDOT encroachment permit. a. Construction plans. b. Dorchester County Water and Sewer's Minimum Standards for the Design and Construction of Water and Sanitary Sewer Systems". c. Applicable SCDHEC regulations. | ||
