Description

Capacity improvement project to widen Emerson Avenue to 5 lanes. Project will include pavement reconstruction, 2 lanes in each direction with flush continuous two-way left turn, curb, sidewalks on both sides, replacement of existing traffic signals, new pavement markings, and other miscellaneous items. Traffic will be maintained during construction. Project includes replacement of the existing bridge over I-65; however, INDOT will be responsible for inspecting the construction of the bridge.
