FSU Facilities Pressure Washing

The range of pressure washing shall consist of horizontal and vertical washing areas, and shall include, but not be limited to, walls, doors, windows, soffits, fascia, awnings, gutters, trim, etc. Zone supervisor will coordinate with contractor when some of these areas needs to be excluded from scope of work. Pressure washing shall remove foreign materials such as mold, mildew, oil, grease, adhesives, sand, and dirt, in addition, pressure washing shall remove all foreign bodies such as insects and/or insect nest(s). Where applicable, gutters shall be cleaned out during pressure washing operations to ensure free flow from the top to bottom and windows shall be squeegeed dry to leave a clear and translucent finish. If specified by supervisor, sidewalks and steps, within 10’of the building, and entrance pads shall also be washed. When roof service washing require, low-pressure solution application method should be used, and special care should be taken to avoid any damages to the roof system.
