2020 and 2021 Back Flow Preventers Program

The work embraced by this contract generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: • Provide a notification letter to the homeowner explaining the sequence of construction prior to beginning any work. • Locate existing storm and sanitary lateral test tees at each residence listed. • Provide a preconstruction video for each site prior to commencing physical work. • Perform a dye test and produce a report of the results for each residence listed. • Provide and install a backflow preventer on the sanitary lateral between the tee and the house, replace the storm and sanitary test tee and repair portions of the existing laterals only as necessary to install the backflow device. • Perform surface restoration work to sidewalk, drives and landscaping damaged as a result of the work. • Provide maintenance instructional documents to property owners upon completion of installation.
