Work under this contract is located on State Route 403 in Hart County Georgia on the Georgia Department of Transportation Right of Way. The project limits are from milepost 179.34 at South Carolina State Line to milepost 178.85 as shown in the accompanying image. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, waste disposal and traffic control. The price for traffic control shall be included in the overall bid price of listed pay items. Medians, and Outside shoulders shall be mowed with Zero Turn Mowers. All guardrail inside the project limits shall be string trimmed (weedeated). All mowing and trimming shall be completed bi-weekly. All existing trees identified by the Contractor, GDOT, or a representative of GDOT to be dying or diseased must be removed completely at no additional cost to the Department. Any shrubs or plants in the contract limits that die or become diseased during the course of the contract must be replaced at no additional cost to the Department. The plants located in Table 12 are incidental plants should the current plants on site become diseased throughout the contract. The planting plan located within the contract outlines where shrubs,trees and perennials are located within the project limits.
