Sidewalk Repairs - Sixth Street: Main Street to Washington Street

Excavate and dispose of concrete and parking meter poles (approximately 160’ long X 1’–6” wide) adjacent to library park, backfill, and landscape. Excavate, remove, and dispose of the existing sidewalk ramp blocks, adjacent sidewalk blocks, and curbs & gutters as specified. Install new sidewalk ramps, sidewalk blocks, curbs & gutters as specified as specified by the City of Jamestown Standard Specifications. Sidewalk ramps shall be 6” thick. Sidewalk blocks shall be 4” thick. Install ADA Certified Detectable Warning Plates per N.Y.S.D.O.T. Sidewalk Curb Ramps Details Standard Specification 608-01. The Contractor shall use East Jordan (EJ) Cast Iron Truncated Dome Detectable Warning Plates or approved equal. Repair any incidental damage to surrounding concrete, blacktop, and bricks as specified by the City of Jamestown Standard Specifications. Backfill, topsoil, landscape, and seed all affected areas to provide an evenly graded and aesthetically pleasing finished lawn space as specified by the City of Jamestown Standard Specifications.
